Awake and Alive’s mission is to move individuals and communities from complacency to vibrancy, replacing a routine existence for a passionate and meaningful one in which people look beyond themselves to assist the poor, distressed, and underprivileged in the world around them.
We accomplish this through three unique components: 1) to advocate for Africans locally by building relationships and easing the burden that often comes with a new culture 2) to assist existing organizations in Africa that are already making a difference in the lives of the poor and marginalized 3) to rouse Christians through education and experience, inspiring them to go beyond themselves.
